Description:
The survival of the human race lies entirely in players’ hands in Space Siege, a brand-new action-RPG from Chris Taylor, the creator of the award-winning Dungeon Siege and Supreme Commander games. Space Siege puts players in the shoes of Seth Walker, a robotics specialist aboard the Armstrong – the only colony ship to survive a massive alien attack upon Earth. As the aliens descend, Walker must fend off the extraterrestrial threat using his wits and weapons. To help his cause, he can choose to augment his body with a variety of cybernetic upgrades available throughout the Armstrong – but with each mechanical improvement, he becomes more machine than man and he can never return to being fully human. In this spectacular sci-fi adventure, players must decide whether to risk it all for humanity!
• Multiple Paths. Define your game experience with the decisions you make. Will you remain truly human in the face of insurmountable odds? Or will you compromise your humanity with cybernetic upgrades to even the score? Customize your character with multiple skills and special abilities that fit your style of play.
• Robot Assistant. Upgrade your robot companion with armor, weapons and special equipment. Command it to perform offensive and defensive tactical combat maneuvers, or combine your efforts and unleash special attack combos.
• Chilling Story. Follow a multi-chapter storyline and make key decisions that determine the best means to deal with the ferocious alien menace that is threatening the future of humanity.
• Online Multiplayer. Up to four players can play cooperatively in a separate multiplayer campaign designed specifically for online play. Customize enemy difficulty and toughness to best fit your skill level.
• Tactical Action. Rarely does an action-RPG offer so many tactical maneuvers, including ambushes, getting the drop on enemies, and a host of other tactics and special abilities.
